Sunday 16 June Harvey’s Street Art Bike Ride: 10am at Walthamstow Central Library
This bike ride takes us round the street art of East London from Walthamstow to Clapton, Dalston, Hoxton and back. If you like riding in the City on a Sunday and want a guided tour of Street Art with our own expert on the subject, then this is your ride. The ride will be about 3 hours with a tea stop or two.
Wednesday 19 June Bike Breakfast ride: Starts 7:15am at Bakers Arms, Lea Bridge Road.
Fancy a coffee and a croissant on the way into work? Then join us for this ride into Hackney in search of a free breakfast. The ride is for commuters or anyone who fancies an early morning ride into town. It will end up in the City and West End with people returning under their own steam. Please note the date has been changed from 18 June to 19 June.
Thursday 20 June Evening Bike Ride: Leaves at 7:30pm from Walthamstow Central Library
This is a pleasant evening ride to take advantage of the summer evening sunshine. Everyone is welcome and we expect to end up in a local hostelry.
Saturday 22 June Borough Market Breakfast Ride: Leaves at 8am from Walthamstow Central Library
This is our annual ride to browse the stalls and purveyors of fine foods at Borough Market London Bridge. Leaving early we avoid the traffic and crush at the market. The ride is about an hour with time to buy your produce, have a spot of breakfast and come back by about Noon.
Sunday 23 June Tour de Waltham Forest all day at Walthamstow Town Square
Waltham Forest Council is hosting its annual bike festival at the Town Square. We will have a stall and we need volunteers to assist at the stall. You can also join a variety of bike rides from easy ability rides to more challenging forest rides. Further details to be announced.
