IBikeLondon Night Ride
The Night Ride returns and we’re going!

Sunday 17 May
Nic’s CARe-free ride
The destination and direction of the ride is entirely based on wind speed and direction and may be train-assisted – so take your Oyster or contactless debit card with you.
We’ve taken the train to West Drayton and had a down-wind trip all the way home via the Grand Union canal and Thames Path when we had a brisk westerly. Then, when we had a blustery southern wind, we took the cycle path north to Broxbourne and took the train back, and right glad were we to do so – that was the coldest, wettest and downright nastiest south wind I can remember!
Meet from about 10.30 for an 11 o’clock start outside Walthamstow Library / Farmers’ Market.
Monday 18 May
Margaret’s Breeze ride
Meet Margaret, of Sick Bike Repairs, at 9.30am in the car park at the bottom end of Coppermill Lane by the railway, E17 7HG. The ride is suitable for women and children and usually goes through the marshes to the Olympic Park, no further than 12 miles.
NB: this month we’re meeting at 9.30 and will cycle along the Lea to Broxbourne, then take a train back.
