We aim to stop off at a cafe at about half time, but we recommend you bring a snack and some water.

Friday 15 May
IBikeLondon Night Ride

The Night Ride returns and we’re going!
We’ll be leaving Walthamstow at 6pm (meeting outside Walthamstow Library) to be under Waterloo Bridge on time for the 7pm start. We will lead a return ride, the time of which will be agreed after sufficient fun has been had. Definitely back before the library opens in the morning!

Sunday 17 May
Nic’s CARe-free ride

The destination and direction of the ride is entirely based on wind speed and direction and may be train-assisted – so take your Oyster or contactless debit card with you.
We’ve taken the train to West Drayton and had a down-wind trip all the way home via the Grand Union canal and Thames Path when we had a brisk westerly.  Then, when we had a blustery southern wind, we took the cycle path north to Broxbourne and took the train back, and right glad were we to do so – that was the coldest,  wettest and downright nastiest south wind I can remember!
Meet from about 10.30 for an 11 o’clock start outside Walthamstow Library / Farmers’ Market.

Monday 18 May
Breeze ride
Meet Margaret, of Sick Bike Repairs, at 9.30am in the car park at the bottom end of Coppermill Lane by the railway, E17 7HG. The ride is suitable for women and children and usually goes through the marshes to the Olympic Park, no further than 12 miles.
NB: this month we’re meeting at 9.30 and will cycle along the Lea to Broxbourne, then take a train back.

Wednesday 20 May
The Evening Ride

The evenings are lighter now and our mid-week evening rides are back. Join us for a 6.30pm start outside Walthamstow Library for a couple of hours of riding, exploring Mini-Holland facilities.

Sunday 24 May
WFCycling Monthly ride
Ideas always abound, including options to account for weather. In case we use the train have your Oyster or contactless debit card with you!
Meet at 10.15 outside Walthamstow Library. We are usually back by 3-4pm.
