Drive less, Live more & Save our planet!

Ride for Road Safety Week – Drive less, Live more!

All welcome, child friendly bike ride Sunday 29th November, meeting 9am at Drapers Field, Leyton.

We plan to ride 5-6 miles and take in the sights around the Olympic Park and finish by 10:15. Most of this will be on cycle lanes and shared use paths, although there will be a short section where the ride will be on road. The ride will be marshalled and has been joint organised by WFCC and the council.

Please fill in the sign-up form to give us an idea of numbers:

Hope to see you there,

P.s. We’ve just reinvented the concept of park & ride 🙂

Ride to the People’s Climate Bike Bloc

Lizabels awesome hatAlso Sunday 29th November – Just 15 minutes after the Drive Less, Live More ride ends we’re leading a ride to join the People’s Climate March in central London, and in particular the ‘Cut Transport Emissions Bloc’ – nuff said!

It’s an 8 mile ride and we will be going on some busy roads and keeping up a reasonable pace (the quiet routes are quite indirect) so unfortunately this is not an all abilities ride – please ask if you’re not sure it’s for you and we can give you more information.
