Our Annual Meeting is on the 22nd of March at the Hornbeam Café at 8pm.
Firstly if you have any motions for the meeting then please get them to David@wfcycling.org.uk at least 7 days prior to the meeting to ensure that they are added to the agenda.
We will also have the elections for the officer positions. The positions are as follows.
Coordinator – The coordinator liaises between the London Cycle Campaign and Waltham Forest Cycle Campaign. The coordinator sets the agenda for the monthly meeting and coordinates the campaigns that the group undertakes, responds to emails to on the WFCC email account and writes the borough insert.
Chair – Chairs the monthly meeting.
Treasurer – Manages the groups bank account and proposes the budget for the year.
Secretary – Takes minutes at monthly meeting and posts them on the website.
Council Liaison – Liaises with the council, both elected councillors and engineers. Attends stakeholder meetings. Liaises between the monthly meeting and council around issues that effect cycling provision in the borough.
Ride Leader – organises the monthly rides, leads the rides.
All the roles can be undertaken as a job share.
If you are interested in standing for any of the posts it would be useful if you could let me know before the meeting next month, however you can also come to the meeting and propose yourself for a post.
