Monday 4 April
Margaret’s Breeze road ride
Meet Margaret, of Sick Bike Repairs, at 9.30am outside The Castle, 393 – 395 High Road, Woodford IG8 0XG.
This ride will be on the roads around the Essex countryside and will be approx 35-40 miles, the route will be adjusted to take account of conditions on the day. The pace will be brisk, 12-14 mph.

Leyton Orient Family Cycling Sessions
Cycle with Leyton Orient! This five-week programme will improve your cycling confidence. Weekend sessions start from Saturday 9th April at 10am, weekday sessions from Thursday 14th April at 5pm.
The location is at SCORE, 100 Oliver Road, E10 5JY

Walthamstow Family Bike Ride
A relaxed and enjoyable afternoon travelling by bicycle and exploring the nooks and crannies in and around our borough. Frisbees sometimes materialise when we hit a suitable open space.
We aim to stop off at a cafe at about half time, but we recommend you bring a snack and some water.
Meet at 1pm at the Orford Road/Church Lane junction, E17 9RW, next to the old postbox opposite the Ancient House … see the map.

Walthamstow Family Bike Club’s Newcomers Ride
The gentlest of them all: following the roaring success of the monthly family rides, Walthamstow Family Bike Club is now offering an even gentler and quieter introduction to cycling, ideal for those new to cycling, including families with young children.
We’ll ride around the quiet streets in Walthamstow Village, and tailor the distance to the riders’ needs and confidence. Before we set off we’ll do a quick check on all bikes to ensure they are roadworthy.
We meet at 2pm in Walthamstow Village Square at the junction of Eden Road and Orford Road (for a map click here). We finish at the Square around 3.30pm.

Take the Peaceful Route with Nic
Meet from about 10.30 for an 11 o’clock start outside Walthamstow Library / Farmers’ Market.
Join Nic for the peaceful ride over mixed surfaces (be ready for a bit of mud!). The destination and direction of the ride will be discussed at the start and will account for wind speed and direction and may be train-assisted – so take your Oyster or contactless debit card with you.

Bridget’s Evening Ride
Join Bridget for a 6.30pm start outside Walthamstow Library for an hour or so of riding around the borough.

WFCycling Monthly ride
Ideas always abound, including options to account for weather. In case we use the train have your Oyster or contactless debit card with you!
Meet at 10.15 outside Walthamstow Library, for a departure by 10.30. We are usually back by 3-4pm.

#PollutionProtest outside Department for Transport
Join thousands of people who are concerned about our current levels of air toxicity to protest outside the Department for Transport in Horseferry Road, SW1P 4DR.
You can tube it to Victoria, though Pimlico, Westminster, St James’s Park underground stations are marginally closer. We’ll be there, coming from our respective places of daily confinement, so please join us. If you would like to join an organised bike ride from Waltham Forest please get in touch and we’ll try to organise one.

Friday 29 April
Come to Belvedere Road in the Southbank by 7:30pm to join this energising bike party if you’re already in Central London, or else meet Nic outside Walthamstow Library by 6pm to ride there together.
