Kiddical Mass is coming to Walthamstow!
Join us on a short cycle tour through our new, safe & people-friendly residential streets to picnic & play in Lloyd Park.
Meet 2pm at the Village Square (at the Eden Road/Orford Road junction)
Meet 4pm at Lloyd Park cafe for the return trip to Village Square.
All welcome, especially families with young children.

Sunday 10 JulyWalthamstow Family Bike Club
Walthamstow Family Bike Ride
A relaxed and enjoyable afternoon travelling by bicycle and exploring the nooks and crannies in and around our borough. Frisbees sometimes materialise when we hit a suitable open space.
We aim to stop off at a cafe at about half time, but we recommend you bring a snack and some water.
Meet at 1pm at the Orford Road/Church Lane junction, E17 9RW, next to the old postbox opposite the Ancient House … see the map.

Meet at The Allum Medical Centre, Fairlop Road, Leytonstone E11 1BN, for 10am departure.

Sunday 17 July – 11am, Walthamstow Town Square
Take the Peaceful Route with Nic
Meet from about 10.30 for an 11 o’clock start outside Walthamstow Library / Farmers’ Market.
Join Nic for the peaceful ride over mixed surfaces (be ready for a bit of mud!). The destination and direction of the ride will be discussed at the start and will account for wind speed and direction and may be train-assisted – so take your Oyster or contactless debit card with you.

Walthamstow Family Bike Club’s Newcomers Ride

The gentlest of them all: following the Newcomers Rideroaring success of the monthly family rides, Walthamstow Family Bike Club is now offering an even gentler and quieter introduction to cycling, ideal for those new to cycling, including families with young children.
We’ll ride around the quiet streets in Walthamstow Village, and tailor the distance to the riders’ needs and confidence. Before we set off we’ll do a quick check on all bikes to ensure they are roadworthy.
We meet at 2pm in Walthamstow Village Square at the junction of Eden Road and Orford Road (for a map click here). We finish at the Square around 3.30pm.

Bridget’s Evening Ride

Join Bridget for a 6.30pm start outside Walthamstow Library for an hour or so of riding around the borough.

Sunday 24 July
WFCycling Monthly ride
Ideas always abound, including options to account for weather. In case we use the train have your Oyster or contactless debit card with you!
Meet at 10.15 outside Walthamstow Library, for a departure by 10.30. We are usually back by 3-4pm.

Friday 29 July
Critical Mass
Come to Belvedere Road in the Southbank by 7:30pm to join this energising bike party if you’re already in Central London, or else meet Nic outside Walthamstow Library by 6pm to ride there together.

Saturday 30 July
Ride London FreeCycle
FreeCycleWe’re running a feeder ride to this event in Central London, so you can join thousands of other Londoners on our capital’s largest traffic-free ride, Ride London Freecycle!
Meet outside Walthamstow Library (High St, E17 7JN) for departure at 9.45am.
