10% by 2020 Treasury Protest – Increase Spending for Cycling
Based on numerous studies and WHO guidelines, the UN recommends that 20% of transport budget be spent on active travel: walking and cycling. Far too long have our politicians paid lip service to action on pollution, climate change and public health without actually doing anything meaningful. Join us as we demand action on active travel: 5% of transport budget in 2017, 10% by 2020, and the recommended 20% by 2025, to make the UK cleaner, healthier and sustainable.
