    Hi Fred,

Apologies, I can’t do this one. I’m at the Velodrome with my sister (viewing).

What is the UCI thing about?

If nobody else is interested in an Illuminated ride, I’m not. However, if they are, please tell me when it is.

      Hi Bridget,
      Thanks for letting me know.
I thought I’d raise the illuminated ride as it was an idea last year but it didn’t happen – I think you said the same thing last year! I want to see if anyone is interested.
      I’ll forward the UCI details.
      Kind regards,

Fred, I’ve changed my mind about Xmas Illuminated ride – if I’m running a ride on 23 December, it might as well be one.

So, start at 2pm, bring lights – including Xmas style lights, we’ll go for a ride, visit a cafe, and finish off by visiting local illuminations (Walthamstow market, if nothing else!).

It’ll be dark by 4, so we’ll need lights anyway. Just be excessive.

It’ll be a good excuse to visit some of the local parkland areas. At a rough guess, Olympic Park – Pistacchios, then dress up for the return.

P.S. I’m not doing publicity, so I can’t do more than tell riders about the UCI event. I’m not against mentioning it on the website.
