Get involved in WF Cycling Campaign

We need LCC supporters to take cycling to the next level, would you like to be involved?

We are hugely fortunate to live in a borough which has demonstrated the political leadership and council officer skills to transform our roads and deliver streets which are more attractive and far safer for cycling and walking. Campaigners, councillors and council officers from across the UK have visited, been inspired by what’s been achieved, and are now transforming their own areas.

This would never have happened without Waltham Forest Cycling Campaign’s lobbying and focus. And there is still so much to be done to deliver improvements across our borough, and to support everyone who cycles, or would like to.

To maintain this pace of change our campaign must remain proactive and vibrant, and new active members are essential. We need supporters to:

  • Join our committee
  • Run campaigns and events
  • Organise group rides
  • Work with the council to plan cycling infrastructure
  • Support LTNs and other schemes
  • Launch new initiatives … what would you like to see to help local cyclists?

At WFCC’s annual meeting on Tuesday 23rd March, we will be discussing our plans for the year ahead, and electing a new committee.

If you’d like to be involved in any way, please join us on the day, or call or email Paul ( or Caroline (

Kind regards,

Paul and Caroline
